The Leadership of the Keep runs the operation of the Castle & Cathedral; and military operations of the castle and town. They are the law of the land in their domain and maintain these laws in an organized and lawful manner. They emulate the military strategies of Elturel and the Hellriders for successful patrolling.
Members of the Shadow Guard police the castle and the town of Asbravn, while the Shadow Watch patrol the lands and highways within a days ride of Helmshold. The Clergy of the church minister to their flock and use what miracles they can to aid their populace (Weather control, healing, Divining etc.)
The Order of Argus has allowed Sir Boran Chull and his cavalry to come to Helmshold to aid Torin and serve Helm until they are called back by the Order. Torin has sent them north to reinforce Hluthvar.
