1. Plague in Mulhorand rampages through that southern kingdom.

2. An unexpected red Comet has been seen in the skies of the Northern Hemmisphere during the middle of the month, which is leaving many scholars at a loss and many of the superstitious speaking of Doom and the End of the World.

3. The Moonsea region remains destabilized since the collapse of Zhentil Keep. The occupied Southern Merchants quarters infrastructure has been slowly rebuilding, but they are still far away from beginning to even trade again.

4. Sembia seems to be taking advantage of Cormyr's disasterous blight and is charging exorbitant prices for food goods traded with Cormyr. This incenses the people of Cormyr who scream their rage in nationalism against Sembia.

5. A group of heroes who are known as the Daggerford Dozen have defended both Daggerford AND Waterdeep from massive assaults by dragons, giants and evil sea humanoids. Some say the Avatar of the goddess Umberlee herself has been defeated by the Dozen in both cases. The heroes are much lauded throughout the north. (They are Thorvoldd, Jade, Gem, jadarl, and Abstract - with new friends Tsallok, and Torin).

6.  The Mighty Lords of the Order of Argus have set their forces upon defending the Eastern Heartlands from the terrors of the desperate winter ahead.

7. The tower of the Wizard Mintassan, in Westgate, seems to have been destroyed in a magical calamity. All that remains is a black as night magical vortex in its place. Unstable magic permeats the area and anyone coming too close to the vortex is assailed by alien tentacle like appendages that pull them to their deaths in the blackness. The rulers and wizards of the city are at a loss as to what to do about it.
