MONDAY KNIGHTS​ 

APPEARANCE

Blade is a ruggedly handsome man with long black hair (Often in a ponytail). He has penetrating steel gray eyes that hold within them weary experience, wisdom and an absolute, calm confidence. Sometimes he wears a beard or a stubbly unshaved look. He has an athletic and muscular build and carries himself with sure, cat-like grace.

While on a Shadowrun or in that mode he favors either an armor jacket and heavy pistol or full-on camo combat harness/fatigues with a layered form-fit and vest/jacket combo, with various items harnessed. When not kitted out for an assault, he prefers, these days, to wear fine armored clothing (A Dark suit and possibly overcoat) when going about his normal affairs or when meeting particular clients.

PERSONALITY AND BACKGROUND

Blade is finally returning to Seattle after spending two years away in Japan – studying philosophy, meditating, centering his Ki and mastering Aikido. Blade is returning a much different man than he was when he left Nightshade. Shadowrunning had worn him down through many personal losses and a sour paranoia had fallen upon him. He was seeing danger in every shadow near the end. The loss of his master was the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. He had lost his center, and had to go on a personal journey to regain mastery over his Ki and become whole again.

He is returning now much wiser, stronger and centered than he ever had been. He exudes calm confidence from his very being. His body and skills make him a deadly and efficient opponant whether unarmed, armed with a melee weapon, or with a variety of firearms. This is revealed to the observer with but a glance into his deep, gray eyes.

His intentions are to bring his affairs to order now that he is back in Seattle and to reconnect with Nightshade. He has kept his communications to limited touch bases with Shadowjack (His oldest and closest friend in the Biz) from time to time. Now he wants to see what the team has gotten themselves into teaming up with the trickster elf, Harlequin, of all people. Blade will find it much easier now to hide his contempt for the Elf behind a cool mask of indifference.... But he still does not trust him and considers him an enemy, but one who can be worked with if absolutely necessary. He calls him "Torikkusutā no akuma" in Japanese - The Trickster Demon.
