Hello my fellow Monday Knights. So, a bit of a shocker here - I'm re-modelling and simplifying our site. This new site is going to be more blog-based and the structure and navigation revolves around that. Right now, this site will only cover D&D 5e topics and resources, but the old site will still be out there at this new web address: https://dougblittle.wixsite.com/mondayknight2
I've put a ton of work into the old site and it is bloated with pages and resources and ideas that never took off. At the end of the day I didn't feel the effort was worth the use it was getting from our group. With this simpler, blog style website, now the ball is in your court. Every single one of you will be members and given the rights to create your own posts and add your own content. How successful and used this site will be, will be dependent on how you use it and contribute to it.
There is a character section where you can upload a picture and background for whatever characters you want (I don't need to do all the work now). Maybe you have a passionate idea that you want to get out there about whatever topic you think your friends would be interested in. Maybe a short story about some of the characters? What about discussing in depth the statistics and play-testing you've done for what you consider to be an awesome build? (Targeting Don and Neal here). Maybe you've been daydreaming about a character and some cool castle or mansion they want to build? All of this is within your power to take charge of yourself.
I can still commit to contributing content and blog posts, but I need to know that you guys are bothering to read the posts and leaving comments, etc. If I try and make this site great, then maybe you could add it to your normal routine of the things you are passionate about and want to read/look at/interact with. We can have some fun with this and make something really great!
Please leave a comment below and let me know how you feel or what you think of this new site (And that you've even been here). Do you think you will be a contributor? What sort of things do you think you could contribute? Will you visit and use this site? Is there anything I am missing that you want to see here? How would you like to use this site?
