Ajeroth is kind, generous, good natured and fun loving. He has the inherent elven passion for singing, dancing and revelry. He has an almost childlike wonder and fascination for encountering new people, places and experiences. Magic fascinates him not for the power that it can bring him but for the sheer wonder of what it is.Â
Ajeroth has a very strong moral core and seeks to do good and help others whenever it is possible. He understands that with great power comes great responsibility and he does not abuse his powers nor take them for granted. It is not Naivete which brings him to see the good in everyone, just genuine friendliness and compassion. He is often very personally hurt when these insights into people prove to be false.
Ajeroth's eyes are filled with life and vitality, and sparkle with excitement upon meeting new, interesting people or visiting new and exciting places. Ajeroth is a true adventurer and keeps away from the perils of politics. He seeks to discover every hidden place left, not just on Toril, but in the Crystal Spheres and Outer Planes as well. It is good that he has centuries of life left to explore it all. It is this thirst for adventure which prompted Ajeroth to petition the goddess Mystra (by visiting her home plane) to further enchant the Staff of Midnight (given as a gift to Ajeroth upon the Goddesses ascention to the Heavens) with special powers to help Ajeroth locate and seek out adventurers around the Realm to accompany him on his quests.
Ajeroth has a somewhat enlightened view of humanity. He is not as xenophobic as the rest of his race. He has come to love and cherish the human race for all of its vitality and fiery passion, even though this flame is extinguished far too soon. He realizes that the race of mankind is the future of Abeir Toril, and instead of abandoning them for the safety of Evermeet, he chose to live among them and act as Stewart in any way he can for humanity. To help guide those he meets toward enlightenment.Â
Ajeroth has adventured much and journeyed far in his career and has seen much joy as well as sorrow. He chose to live among the humans and after many years he has come to terms with his virtual immortality and the short lives of his friends. He chooses to cherish each day with them that he has, and remembers them in his Reveries when they are gone.
Ajeroth is artistic and creative. He loves to paint and sculpt and is quite talented. He enjoys writing - Stories, songs and poetry. He has a joyous, soft elven singing voice and his renditions of elven songs have brought tears to the eyes of many listeners. He also plays the harp and its dulcet tones mix harmoniously with his soft voice. While at the tower, Ajeroth and Tesenai spend hours singing together and proclaiming the glory of life, their elven heritage, and the wonderful humans hey have encountered.
Ajeroth chose to make his home near Silverymoon because its tenets mirror his own views of the world. Silverymoon's doors are open to all races of the world and it stands as a symbol of welcomeness amid a harsh landscape. The city is wondrous and magical. There are several prominent mage guilds and powerful Magi residing there. Every manner of spell component or magical device can be found there and it is a great starting point for adventure. Ajeroth is on good terms with the Lady Alustriel, Ruler of Silverymoon and has sought her council on several occasions and received much aid as well.  He has pledged to aid and defend the city in times of strife and war. Ajeroth also maintains a manor house in Waterdeep and keeps a small staff there, but it is not his primary residence now.
Ajeroth loves Tesenai and his servants at Midnight Tower. Dorim and Chaim are treated with kindness and love. Their needs are always met in any way possible and they love Ajeroth as well. The Tower atmosphere is more one of a family than master and servant. Tesenai has studied under Ajeroth for several years and attained much power himself. He no longer requires Ajeroth's tutelage in magic, but often seeks knowledge from his friends experience and unique knowledge. Tesenai is not bound to live at the Tower and may choose to leave some day, much to Ajeroth's sorrow, but for now he is content to expand his knowledge and magical prowess by continuing to study from Ajeroth's expansive library. Tesenai is not as adventurous as Ajeroth and is content with his studies. He has full access to Ajeroth's Study, Library and Workshop.
Ajeroth likes to travel light while adventuring and does not carry a back pack full of adventuring equipment. His magic can handle most issues which would require special gear. He carries essential items in his Deep Pockets or in his Leomund's Secret Chest.
Ajeroth enjoys wearing fine clothing from all parts of the Realms - not gaudy, but well-made and stylish. He favors colorful loose cloth pants, fine woven cloth shirts with repeating border patterns, and comfortable soft leather boots. He often wears light colored cloaks. He dislikes hats and helmets. He often wears his hair in a long ponytail. While adventuring he keeps 3 extra shirts, 3 extra over shirts, 3 extra pairs of pants, an extra pair of boots, an extra cloak as well as a heavy wool cloak in his Leomund’s secret chest. All of his shirts are specially designed for the Deep Pockets Spell.
