Hey me mateys! Our imaginative Dungeon Master has set before us an exciting tale of swashbuckling adventure and dark curses. We've begun an interstitial adventure of daring-do in the Sword Coast of Faerun. Three disparate pirates find themselves embroiled in a dark mission to extricate themselves from the machinations of the most fearsome pirate ever to sail the waters of the Sword Coast - Black Beard himself!
Surviving a devastating attack upon their own pirate ship by Black Beard's ships, they end up stowing away upon the enemies ship, hiding in the Bilge. When they finally reach landfall, they rescue one of their crewman and escape off the ship only to find themselves on a pirate island in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by Black Beard's people.
To top it off, they are beginning to feel the effects of a strange curse that Black Beard had put upon the island and his ships. What will this strange trio - A tabaxi, a lizard man, and a goliath - do to overcome the obstacles before them.....
