To save Ireena, the heroes had to take the west road to the village of Vallaki. On the way they came upon a trail that led to the Vistani camp at Tser Pool. The Vistani camp was a small collection of wagons and tents in a somewhat permanent location. Most notably this was the home of the Seer Madam Eva. The vistani treated them well and with hospitality. They met Madam Eva and she read their fortunes with her mystical Tarokka cards.
This proved to be a smart stop for them to make as they learned valueable clues about how to succeed in their quest to escape this cursed land from her. (Detailed here) The PC's stopped back once more in the search of Silver weapons to battle the were-wolves. They had none, but for a high price could make one. The PCs decided they couldn't afford it.
PEOPLE
Madam Eva - This strange old woman of the Vistani definitely seemed to have other-worldly powers of knowledge of the past and future, reading her Tarokka cards. She spoke of holy symbols, powerful weapons, hidden mysteries and details of the enemy. To escape this cursed place, the heroes must decipher her cryptic clues to overcome the Devil Strahd. These clues are (Detailed here). The PCs have since learned from Davion Martikov that she is truly evil and her fortunes cannot be trusted. She is as likely to send the PCs to their doom with her "Clues".
The Vistani - These people tended to be colorful, lively and fun loving. They were free with laughter as well as hospitality. The heroes found it hard to reconcile the betrayals of Silvo and these jocular people. Could they be ever trusted?
